We made a recording of the event - check it out right here. Its about 45 mins long - enjoy.

Rick Mullin is a journalist and painter whose poetry has appeared in a variety of print and online venues including The Raintow Review, Measure, Envoi, Unsplendid, 14 by 14, and The Chimaera.
A botanist-turned-English-major, Mullin has worked primarily as a business writer covering the energy, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. His “involved outsider” perspective on the worldof science is very much in keeping with his lifelong residency on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River. It can also describe his open sense of the spiritual--a religious course steered between the absolutes of scientific atheism and the doctrinaire Catholicism of his childhood. |

Oran Ryan is a novelist from Dublin. Oran Ryan is a writer living in East Wall in Dublin. He has written novels: The Death of Finn (Seven Towers, 2006) Ten Short Novels by Arthur Kruger (Seven Towers 2007), and One Inch Punch (Seven Towers, 2012). He has written plays: Don Quixote has Been Promoted (2009, Ranelagh Arts Festival) for the Stage and radio: Preliminary Design For a Universe Circling Spacecraft (KRPN, San Francisco, California 2010) He has written and published many short stories, poetry and literary critical articles, particularly on William Burroughs, Marcel Proust and more recently on Virginia Woolf, Doris Lessing, James Joyce, David Foster Wallace. He is currently working on his next novel called Hardcastle Dies Laughing. One of his areas of interest is creative collaboration between various artistic disciplines. "My work, like most writers serious about writing, displays a deep interest in the inner workings of relationships, both human and with other life forms on the planet. It can be looked on in terms of part social commentary, part mock philosophical parody, with a deep strain of black comedy. Dark, funny, very irreverent, at times gut wrenching, my goal in writing is to try, as much as is possible, to describe what it means to live in the world." He blogs at HTTP://ORANRYAN.COM where he mentiones how no belief systems are ever harmed, merely examined, taken out to dinner at times, and sometimes entertained. We wonder if we really believe him on that one.
