Submission Guidelines

Seven Towers very seldom takes submissions.

This is because we generally seek out the work we wish to publish, through attending open mic events and other events and through participating in the writing community in all its forms. If we hear someone or something we like, we make the initial move approaching them. We believe this makes us totally unique in the world of publishing.

When we do publish we publish successive short runs with a view to keeping books in print as long as authors want, and specialise in books we believe should be published, but that may not be acceptable to or suitable for mainstream publishers.

While we do seldom accept submissions, if you believe you have work that is suited to our lists we advise you to:

(a) Come to our open mic event and read your work – be in poetry, fiction, non-fiction

(b) if his is not possible, contact us by email (info@seventowers.ie) with a synopsis.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT BOOK IDEAS. IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY WRITTEN PART OF YOUR TEXT, DO NOT SUBMIT.

In addition, if you are submitting to Seven Towers, do not include us as part of a general mailshot. We will take the time to read the work, but we all do this as a labour of love and have many other commitments, so don’t waste our time by having us read a manuscript you have also submitted to multiple other publishers.
