Rick Mullin (shown here without his magnificent beard) will be one of the poets taking part in a four-day reading and book signing event for New Jersey/Bucks County, PA, poets. Participants all have recently published books. It is in Frenchtown, NJ, a beautiful slice of the Garden State on the Delaware River. If you are a Facebook user, please go here for a lot of information. This excellent event takes place Thursday through Friday at The Open Space Gallery, 36 Bridge Street, in Frenchtown, NJ. Rick will will be reading from Huncke and signing books beginning at 4:00 pm on Saturday, Sept 11. . |

Michael O Loughlin
Michael O’Loughlin is a poet, lierary critic and essayist from Dublin . His poetry collections are Stalingrad: The Street Dictionary (Dublin, Raven Press, 1980); Atlantic Blues (Dublin, Raven Arts Press, 1982); The Diary of a Silence (Raven Arts Press, 1985); and Another Nation, New & Selected Poems (Dublin, New Island Books, 1994/UK Arc Publications, 1996). He has also published a collection of short stories, The Inside Story (Raven Arts Press, 1999); a critical essay, After Kavanagh: Patrick Kavanagh and the Discourse of Contemporary Irish Poetry (Raven Arts Press, 1985); and his translation of the Dutch poet Gerrit Achterberg’s selected poems, Hidden Weddings (Raven Arts Press, 1987). He has lived for many years in continental Europe and now lives in Dublin. |
