Anamaria Crowe Serrano is from Dublin, where she lives with her family. For the past 20 years she has worked as a freelance translator (Spanish and Italian into English), an interpreter, and teacher of Spanish language and translation. Her
p>transla tions and poetry have been published in Ireland, UK, US, Australia and Italy. Publications of poetry include Paso Doble (Empiria, Rome, 2006), co-written with Italian poet Annamaria Ferramosca as an experimental poetic dialogue in which each poem contains both English and Italian lines, a collection of short stories, Dall’altra parte (Leconte, Rome, 2003) and a one act play, The Interpreter (Delta3 Edizioni, 2003). Her first full length collection, Femispheres was published by Shearsman, UK, in 2008. |
